URG Poker Challenge

7 Days, 7 Tournaments!

The Ultimate Game Room Online Poker Challenge is a unique 7-day tournament that will crown the ultimate champion with $15,000 (based on 1,000 entrants). The $125 buy-in ($115 buy-in/$10 entry fee) will actually get you into six tournaments that will run on consecutive days beginning on (insert date here). The top performers from these six tournaments will move on to take part in the final tournament with $50,000 in prize money at stake. The six preliminary tournaments and the final tournament will have a total of over $100,000 in cash up for grabs.

The Tournaments

The six preliminary tournaments will all be NL Hold'em but will have three different formats. The first tournament will be a standard NL Hold'em tournament, the second will have a shootout format and the third will be a rebuy tournament. The NL Hold'em tournament that will kick off The Challenge will have $15,000 for the taking.

The shootout format will not be in the traditional format where only the winner of each table moves on to the next round. The top 3 from each table will move on to each subsequent round until only three tables remain. At this point, the final three tables will play down to the winner with $10,000 at stake in this tournament. Extra starting chips will be awarded by chip count to each player as they advance in the tournament.

The NL Hold'em with rebuys tournament should be a very wild and aggressive tournament with chips flying everywhere. For the first hour, there will be unlimited rebuys at $5 a pop and there will be an add-on at the end of the rebuy period, also for only $5. The furious action should increase the prize pool to well over the guaranteed $7,500.
